Blackbooks
In the Blackbooks, all the means of expression in Giovi's artistic work come together and interpenetrate. We find collages of our own photographs, drawings, sketches, material experiments, sketches of sculptures and sculptures, which in turn are alienated, for example with newspaper fragments or magazine images.
They are materials and ideas that play with themselves under the artist's hand and develop in the process. An informal meeting point for all the impulses into which Giovi allows artistic impulses to flow and which gradually flow back to become artistic reality in their appropriate form.
