Giovi is an Austrian artist with a transdisciplinary practice spanning painting, sculpture, photography, site-specific and multimedia work. He studied Multi Media Art with a focus on illustration, photography and film, graduating with a Mag.(FH) degree from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in 2006.

His work has been shown in exhibitions and projects in Austria and internationally, including Duktus Loki(Reiberei, Wels, 2021), Aufbruch in innere Gebirge (permanent exhibition, Scharnstein, 2019–2020), No Plan (Pro Arte Hallein, 2018), Landscapes (Vienna, 2016), Underwaterlove (Linz, 2013) and The Oily Bird Won’t Catch a Worm(Christchurch, New Zealand, 2011).

Selected projects include sculptures and objects for Peter Sellars’ Idomeneo at the Salzburg Festival (2018–2019), stage painting for the Unlimited Festival in Wels (2023), the site-specific project The Waves (2014), the large-scale sculptures Schwall (2010) and Alma Sulis (2009), and the design of the Philyra nature conservation award for the State of Upper Austria (2015–2020).
